“The Civil Justice Council Protocol for the Instruction of Experts to give Evidence in Civil Claims now provides a comprehensive interpretation of the requirements of Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules and the Practice Direction to that Part. These provisions should however be read in conjunction with Section 13 of the TCC Guide  (http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/docs/tcc_guide.htm#section13) which sets out the special requirements of the TCC with regard to the use of experts.”
